The mast head
light and mast base plug are shipped as loose parts
to protect them during shipping. They must be installed
as part of the commissioning process.
The mast head light is fastened to the drilled and
tapped holes in the mast head fitting using the screws
provided.
A diagram of the deck half of the electrical plug 'pin-out'
is shown at left. The color of wires supplied by the spar
builders may not be consistant. You should trace from
the deck plug to the leads on the mast head light.
The ground pin connects to a wire leading to the
black lead on the light.
The steaming light pin connects to a wire leading
to the white lead on the light.
The anchor light pin connects to a wire leading
tothe grey lead on the light.
NOTE: For
the anchor light to show from 360 degrees, both the
steaming light and the anchor light must be on.
